David Patton

Trust for Public Land / Host Committee Member

David is a mission-driven leader dedicated to public lands, parks, conservation, and social justice. He leads diverse teams in urban and rural communities, leveraging public parks and open spaces to enhance quality of life, advocate for sustainable futures, and advance health and equity. As a member of TPL’s National Field Leadership Team, he drives the implementation of organization wide initiatives that deliver climate, health, and equity solutions through land conservation and the creation of parks, trails, and schoolyards. Previously, David led TPL’s Pacific Region, expanding access to high-quality parks and natural spaces. His leadership experience also includes roles at the National Parks Conservation Association and the YMCA of Greater Seattle.
